This author was born and raised in America’s midwest. Spending most of her childhood running barefoot in the gravel and grass, configuring the satellite to F24 for Nickelodeon, biking to her friend’s farm to feed calves, singing the Menards jingle as worship, and earning a proficiency in the art of lawn mowing as a top performer.
Her parent’s parents were German immigrants who chose their home based on the freedom of the land and love for their family. As a young-adult in the early 2000’s the loneliness of the country bolted her into the excitement of the city life in hopes to learn a new way of living. After earning an education, adapting to the corporate world, being in love, and ruthlessly pursuing personal growth she realized that the freedom and love of the country is deeply rooted in her soul. There’s no place she’d rather be than among the birds and trees.
